Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PEGA QE Tester to support testing and validation of PEGA-based applications, including workflows, case management, integrations, and backend processing with healthcare experience. The role requires strong QA experience, hands-on PEGA testing expertise, and mandatory healthcare domain knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute testing for PEGA workflows, case types, business rules, and decision logic
- Perform end-to-end validation across PEGA UI, APIs, and backend systems
- Analyze logs and system behavior to identify and troubleshoot defects
- Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams for issue resolution
- Perform regression testing, UAT, and production validation
- Validate PEGA case lifecycle, assignments, and routing logic
- Test integrations between PEGA and external systems (APIs, databases)
- Verify data accuracy across PEGA UI, database, and downstream systems
- Validate business rules, decision tables, and data transforms in PEGA
- Monitor and validate queue processors, jobs, and background processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of QA testing experience in PEGA applications
- Strong understanding of PEGA workflows, case management, and business rules
- Experience with API testing (REST services, Postman)
- Strong SQL skills for data validation
- Experience with Python (automation or scripting)
- Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira)
- Healthcare domain knowledge is mandatory, including claims processing, member (eligibility, enrollment, benefits), authorization workflows, appeals, and grievances
- Experience in validating PEGA integrations and case processing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong quality mindset
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Healthcare experience is a must-have
Good to Have:
- Experience with PEGA testing tools or PEGA certification
- Experience with TOSCA Test Suite
- Experience with Playwright automation
- Experience in automation frameworks (UI/API)
Location: 100% Remote
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between $50-55 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
