Full Job Description

Are you a proven B2B sales professional who thrives in the field, enjoys building relationships face-to-face, and knows how to create opportunities from scratch?

We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Business Development Representative to drive growth by developing relationships with key decision-makers throughout the commercial property sector. This is not an entry-level sales role. We are looking for a true hunter who understands how to build a territory, generate meetings, and consistently create new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate has experience selling services to the same commercial decision-makers we serve today and understands how to earn trust, create urgency, and become the first call when problems arise.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute a territory sales plan with minimal supervision
Spend approximately 95% of your time in the field meeting with prospects and clients
Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, asset managers, building owners, and other commercial decision-makers
Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, association involvement, and face-to-face sales calls
Actively participate in local networking groups, industry associations, and business events
Maintain detailed CRM records and consistently track sales activities, opportunities, and follow-up tasks
Follow a structured sales process while remaining coachable and committed to continuous improvement
Create and maintain a strategic sales route that maximizes territory coverage and relationship development
Identify key accounts and develop long-term relationship strategies that position our company as the preferred service provider

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years of successful B2B outside sales experience
Experience selling services to commercial property decision-makers or similar audiences
Proven ability to build trust quickly and establish strong business relationships
Demonstrated success prospecting, overcoming objections, and generating your own opportunities
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Experience using a CRM consistently and effectively
Ability to work independently and manage a territory with minimal supervision
Comfortable receiving coaching and learning a defined sales process
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

What Success Looks Like

Consistently securing meetings with key commercial decision-makers
Building relationships strong enough that clients call you before your competitors when a property emergency occurs
Earning trust and credibility with decision-makers who have multiple vendors competing for their business
Obtaining commitments from clients to utilize your services when the need arises
Becoming a trusted resource and preferred partner within your territory
Maintaining an active presence within local networking groups and industry associations
Building a pipeline of opportunities that leads to consistent revenue growth

This role is ideal for a driven, relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys being in the field, creating opportunities, and becoming the go-to resource for commercial clients when they need help most.

Base Salary ($70-80k) + Commission = OTE $90k-110k
