Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Director of Safety Services to lead our safety, and compliance initiatives across our organization. In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that protect our personnel, assets, and reputation. Your expertise in law enforcement, criminal law, and safety regulations will drive a culture of safety excellence. You will serve as the primary authority on security protocols, conduct thorough background checks, and ensure adherence to all relevant laws and standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence safety practices at a strategic level while fostering a secure environment for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute organizational safety policies aligned with legal requirements and industry best practices.
Lead investigations into security incidents, ensuring detailed report writing and data reporting for analysis.
Oversee performing background checks on new hires and contractors to verify credentials and ensure compliance with security regulations.
Conduct in-person customer service interactions when addressing safety concerns or providing guidance on security procedures.
Manage confidentiality of sensitive information while handling criminal law-related cases or investigations.
Provide leadership to safety teams by training staff on CPR, emergency response protocols, and safety regulations compliance.

Experience

Proven experience in Safety management with a strong understanding of law and legal procedures.
Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive reports and analyze data reporting for organizational insights.
Expertise in performing background checks and managing confidential information responsibly.
Strong leadership skills with experience guiding teams in high-pressure environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for documentation, report writing, and data analysis purposes.
Knowledge of safety regulations, security standards, and compliance requirements across various industries.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver clear instructions and foster positive in-person customer service interactions.
