About the Role

At Hotel Indigo Irving – Las Colinas, every guest interaction is an opportunity to create a

memorable experience inspired by the local neighborhood and hospitality culture. As the

Front Office Supervisor, you play a key role in leading the front desk team, ensuring

exceptional guest service, and supporting the daily operations of the Front Office.

This position reports directly to the Front Office Manager and works closely with all

hotel departments to ensure operational excellence and an outstanding guest experience.

This position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment,

enjoys coaching others, and is passionate about delivering personalized service. You will

lead by example, maintain operational excellence, and help create an environment where

both guests and associates feel welcomed and valued.

What You'll Do

Lead the Guest Experience

 Supervise the daily operations of the Front Desk, ensuring smooth and efficient

guest arrivals and departures.

 Deliver exceptional guest service by creating memorable experiences and resolving

guest concerns promptly and professionally.

 Welcome VIP guests and assist with special requests, room assignments, and

service recovery when needed.

 Ensure every guest interaction reflects Hotel Indigo's commitment to personalized

hospitality.

Support & Develop the Team

 Assist in training, mentoring, and coaching Front Desk Agents and Night Auditors.

 Lead daily shift briefings and communicate important operational updates.

 Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback to maintain service

excellence.

 Foster a positive, collaborative, and guest-focused work environment.

Drive Operational Excellence

 Ensure accurate check-in/check-out procedures, billing, folio balancing, and cash

handling.

 Monitor room inventory, room status, and coordinate with Housekeeping to

maximize room availability.

 Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and daily operational reporting.

 Maintain organized front desk operations and ensure all procedures are followed

consistently.

Maintain Standards & Compliance

 Enforce hotel policies, security procedures, and emergency protocols.

 Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, hotel SOPs, and company

policies.

 Perform daily audits of front Office transactions and ensure accurate

documentation.

 Maintain confidentiality of guest information and company records.

Collaborate Across Departments

 Partner with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Sales to ensure

seamless guest experiences.

 Communicate guest requests and operational updates effectively between

departments.

 Serve as Manager on Duty when assigned and assist with hotel-wide operational

needs.

Qualifications

 Minimum 2 years of Front Office or Guest Services experience, with at least 1

year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

 Previous experience in a Marriott, boutique, or lifestyle hotel is highly preferred.

 Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

 Excellent guest service and conflict-resolution abilities.

 Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

 Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality education is a plus.

Required Skills

 Experience using Property Management Systems (PMS) (Marriott, Opera, or

similar hotel PMS preferred)

 Cash handling and billing accuracy

 Strong attention to detail

 Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

 Knowledge of Marriott brand standards is a plus

Pay: $18.00 per hour
