Physician Assistant – Advanced Endometriosis & Minimally Invasive Gynecologic SurgeryPosition Summary: We are seeking an exceptional Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our dedicated endometriosis surgical practice. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral member of a highly specialized team focused on improving the lives of women suffering from endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, and complex gynecologic conditions.This role combines clinical patient care, perioperative management, and first-assist responsibilities in the operating room. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, intellectually curious, and deeply compassionate. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about advocating for women whose symptoms have often been misunderstood, minimized, or overlooked. A fellowship in a surgical field is highly recommended.

What You'll Do

Clinical Responsibilities

Evaluate new and established patients alongside the surgeon.
Obtain comprehensive histories and perform focused physical examinations.
Educate patients regarding endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, treatment options, and surgical planning.
Develop strong therapeutic relationships through empathetic communication and patient advocacy.
Coordinate preoperative optimization and postoperative recovery.
Manage postoperative visits, wound care, medication management, and recovery protocols.
Collaborate closely with nursing staff, referring physicians, and multidisciplinary specialists.

Operating Room Responsibilities

Serve as first assist during advanced minimally invasive gynecologic procedures.
Assist with laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
Participate in surgical preparation, positioning, tissue handling, exposure, hemostasis, suturing, and closure.
Assist with perioperative decision-making and postoperative management.
Contribute to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and surgical excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current PA-C certification and state licensure (or eligibility).
Experience assisting in the operating room.
Fellowship training for Physician Assistants in: Urology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Gynecologic Oncology, General Surgery, Colorectal Surgery,Other surgical specialties
Experience with laparoscopic and/or robotic surgery is strongly preferred.
Previous experience caring for patients with endometriosis, pelvic pain, or women's health conditions is highly desirable.
