Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional coaching and support to Members using the Starting Strength Method.
Monitor Member progress and ensure adherence to programming and technique.
Build positive relationships with Members, fostering a culture of trust and encouragement.
Maintain a professional and welcoming gym environment.
Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the Member Experience.

Requirements

Strong customer service background, ideally in fitness, hospitality, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for helping others achieve their goals.
Willingness to complete Starting Strength training and development.
Availability: We're hiring across multiple shifts — morning shift, day shift, and evening shift, Monday to Friday. Saturday mornings. Full-time and part-time schedules are built from these shifts — tell us which fit your life.

Compensation

Employee Type: W-2
Base pay: $20–$55/hr depending upon experience (includes PTO), plus paid training and development, and Member-retention performance bonuses.

Paid Time Off: two weeks per calendar year
Wellness Support: free access to our hormone optimization partner, Wittmer Rejuvenation Clinic — hormone replacement therapy, blood labs, and telemedicine consultations, fully remote (value of $200–$400/month)
Professional Development: free Starting Strength Coach (SSC) Prep Course conducted online (value of $249/month), one free Starting Strength Seminar in Wichita Falls, TX (value up to $2,250 including travel and accommodation), and free travel to and attendance at the Starting Strength Gyms Conference
Paid weekly coach development and programming support
Coaching Membership: free 3x/week group training membership (value of $455/month)
Safety Certification: free CPR/First Aid/AED training and renewals
