Equipment
This operation uses bottom-hopper / hopper-bottom trailers for frac sand hauling in West Texas.

DYNA has nearly-new hopper trailers available for approximately $435/week.
That allows qualified owner operators to bring their tractor and get into the operation without purchasing a frac sand trailer upfront.
Fuel Program
Qualified contractors receive access to the DYNA fuel card program.
Current advertised fuel savings are approximately:
$0.33–$1.00 per gallon
Fuel savings can vary by location and participating fuel stop.
Fuel expenses may be deducted directly from your settlement when using the company fuel program.
Escrow
For contractors utilizing DYNA's equipment/fuel program:
- $1,000 escrow deducted per week
- Deducted for the first 2 weeks
- $2,000 total escrow

Complete your work this week and receive settlement the following pay cycle, subject to properly submitted paperwork/load documentation.

Location
Midland / Odessa / West Texas
Primary operation is frac sand transportation supporting oilfield customers throughout the Permian Basin.
Owner operators should be prepared for:
- Oilfield lease roads
- Sand plants
- Well sites
- Day and night operations
- Changing customer schedules
- Waiting/loading/unloading periods
- Dusty and rugged operating conditions
- Weekend work when customer demand requires it
- Extended periods working in the Midland/Odessa area
This is an oilfield trucking operation. Drivers must be comfortable operating professionally in an environment where schedules can change based on well activity.
Minimum Driver Requirements
Applicants must:
- Between 25 an 65 years of age.
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF DRIVING HISTORY
- Be an Owner Operator with their own roadworthy tractor.
- Hold a valid Class A CDL
- Have a current DOT Medical Card
- Have a valid driver's license
- Provide Social Security Card / required employment or contractor identification
- Have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Meet company and insurance driving-history requirements
- Be legally qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle
- Complete all required DOT drug/alcohol testing
- Meet FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements
- Pass company safety qualification
- Be able to safely operate on oilfield and lease roads
- Be able to properly inspect tractor and trailer before operation
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with applicable Hours-of-Service regulations
Frac sand, hopper-bottom, belly-dump, oilfield, aggregate, or similar hauling experience is strongly preferred.
Tractor Documentation Required
Owner operators should be prepared to provide:
- Current tractor registration / cab card
- VIN and equipment information
- Current annual DOT inspection
- IRS Form 2290 / Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax documentation
- Proof of ownership or qualifying lease documentation
- Current insurance documentation required for your operating arrangement
- Bobtail / Non-Trucking Liability insurance, when required
- Physical Damage coverage when required
- Current license plate/registration
- IFTA documentation where applicable
- IRP/apportioned registration where applicable
- Completed W-9
- EIN or Social Security information for contractor payment
- Voided business check or banking information for direct deposit
- Any additional carrier qualification documents requested during onboarding
Owner operators operating under their own authority must also maintain all applicable FMCSA/Texas operating authority, insurance, registration, safety, tax, and compliance requirements.
Your Truck Must Be Ready to Work
Before arriving in Midland, your tractor should be mechanically sound and prepared for demanding West Texas operations.
Your truck should have:
- Good steer and drive tires
- No active DOT out-of-service defects
- Functional brakes
- Functional ABS
- Working headlights, marker lights, brake lights and turn signals
- Working air system
- Proper fifth wheel
- Working glad hands and air lines
- Proper electrical connection
- Functional windshield wipers
- Working mirrors
- Working horn
- Working seat belts
- DOT-compliant fire extinguisher
- DOT emergency warning triangles
- Spare fuses where required
- Tire pressure gauge
- Basic truck tools
- Flashlight/headlamp
- Extra glad-hand seals
- Basic air-line repair supplies
- Extra fluids appropriate for your tractor
- Secure storage for paperwork and load documentation
West Texas operations can be hard on equipment. Preventive maintenance is extremely important.
Oilfield PPE
Drivers should arrive prepared with appropriate oilfield PPE, including at minimum:
- Hard hat
- Safety glasses
- High-visibility vest
- Work gloves
- Steel-toe or safety-toe boots
- Long pants
- Appropriate work shirts
- FR clothing when required by the customer/location
Additional PPE, including an H2S monitor or site-specific equipment, may be required depending on the customer or well location.
