We're looking for an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our growing team in Dallas or Austin, Texas.

What You'll Do

As a PCB Design Engineer, you will design complex multilayer printed circuit boards used in semiconductor testing and high-performance electronic applications. You'll work closely with customers, project managers, manufacturing teams, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality PCB designs that meet demanding electrical and manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities

Design multilayer PCB layouts from customer design packages and engineering specifications.
Develop and maintain schematic-driven PCB designs.
Perform component placement, routing, and stack-up development for complex PCB designs.
Conduct Design Rule Checks (DRC) and Design for Manufacturability/Assembly (DFM/DFA) reviews prior to release.
Review customer requirements and identify technical issues before design begins.
Collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams to resolve design challenges.
Update PCB layouts based on engineering changes and customer feedback.
Partner with Project Managers and Account Managers to ensure complete and accurate design packages.
Provide technical support to the Sales team regarding product capabilities and customer applications.
Participate in technical meetings with customers, including occasional onsite visits.
Maintain documentation and follow internal engineering and quality procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
Experience designing multilayer printed circuit boards.
Proficiency with one or more of the following:
Altium Designer
Cadence Allegro PCB Designer
Cadence OrCAD Capture
OrCAD PCB Editor
Strong understanding of PCB layout principles, signal integrity considerations, and manufacturing constraints.
Experience interpreting engineering documentation, schematics, and customer specifications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Preferred

Experience within the semiconductor, electronic manufacturing, or semiconductor test equipment industry.
Knowledge of IPC standards and PCB design best practices.
Familiarity with high-speed, high-density, or RF PCB design is a plus.
