Compensation
60K-70K base plus bonus with overall comp possibility of up to 75K possible

Overview
Join our team as an Escrow Assistant and become a vital part of the mortgage and financial services industry! In this energetic role, you will support escrow officers by managing essential documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating smooth transaction processes. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help deliver exceptional service to clients while maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the escrow process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in loan processing, underwriting, and mortgage servicing within a fast-paced, professional environment.

Duties

Assist with the preparation, review, and organization of escrow documents, contracts, and loan files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with lenders, title companies, real estate agents, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and transaction flow.
Verify borrower information, including credit analysis data, income verification, and compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
Support the escrow team in processing loan applications in accordance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and TILA (Truth in Lending Act) requirements.
Maintain detailed records of all escrow transactions, including inbound and outbound documentation logs.
Conduct basic math calculations for loan figures, escrow amounts, and other financial data using 10-key typing skills.
Assist with mortgage servicing tasks such as payment processing, escrow account management, and ensuring adherence to banking regulations.

Skills

Strong understanding of FNMA guidelines, underwriting procedures, and loan origination processes.
Experience in loan processing, credit analysis, and mortgage servicing is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and TILA compliance standards.
Proficiency in contracts management and banking operations related to real estate transactions.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders involved in escrow transactions.
