About Dhaliwal Labs

Dhaliwal Labs — the art of beauty & science — is a family-owned contract manufacturer of beauty, personal care, and OTC products, operating plants in Bedford Park, IL, Dallas, TX, and Mesquite, TX. Our customers are the brands you see on retail shelves across the country, and our promise to them is simple: the Perfect Order — the right product, built to spec, in the right quantity, released on time, with clean documentation and an accurate invoice.

The Role

The Account Coordinator is the customer's primary point of contact and their advocate inside our Dallas plant. You own customer orders end to end — from purchase order receipt through planning, production, quality release, shipment, and invoice — and you are the one person who watches every order across its entire life. When a customer thinks of Dhaliwal, they think of you; when the plant needs the customer's voice in the room, you are that voice.

This is not a back-office order entry job. You will be on the production floor daily, in the plant's planning and materials meetings every morning, and in your customers' business deeply enough to know their brands on the shelf.

What You'll Own

Order intake and entry: validate every customer PO against pricing, minimums, and part numbers before it enters our system; enter sales orders in our ERP (Microsoft Dynamics GP) accurately and on time; keep every date in the system true to reality — always.
Reliable promises: run every new order through a daily planning review with the site Planner — materials, capacity, lead times — so ship dates are confirmed as achievable before they are promised to the customer, and manage those commitments through our date management policy.
The daily rhythm: daily production and materials meetings as the voice of the customer; open order and finished-goods monitoring; hot item prioritization; a daily walk of the production floor.
Customer communication: every customer call and email answered same or next business day; a weekly open order report to every customer every Friday that matches our system exactly; a weekly touchpoint alongside the Account Executive.
New product commercialization support: new item setup and scoping, packaging and shipper specifications, pallet patterns, artwork routing through Quality and Regulatory to customer-approved proofs, and costing through to the approved price list.
Customer-supplied materials: receiving verification against packing slips, inventory tracking and monthly reporting, and proactive ETA management so customer-supplied packaging never becomes the reason an order is late.
Production support: first-production sign-offs against spec and the shopper's eye, batch approval routing, and sample shipments — pallet-tagged, billed, and tracked.
Delivery and close-out: final quantity reconciliation, routing and pickup coordination, line-by-line packing list verification, invoice accuracy, and clean order close-out.
Continuous improvement: candid post mortems when any part of an order's cycle fails, with corrective actions tracked to completion — we treat honest critique as doing the job well.

What Makes You Successful Here

Customer advocate with plant fluency. You can hold the customer's priorities and the plant's reality in your head at the same time, and translate between them credibly.
Detail discipline. You understand that one stale date or wrong part number misleads an entire planning system — and you keep records clean as a matter of professional pride.
Candid communicator. You deliver bad news early with a recovery plan, escalate before problems become surprises, and put honest critique in writing.
Organized under volume. Multiple accounts, daily rhythms, weekly reports, and live production issues — managed without dropping threads.
Curious about the product. You'll know your customers' brands on the retail shelf, and you'll have tried the products you help make.

Requirements

3+ years in a customer-facing role in a manufacturing environment (account coordination, customer service, order management, or inside sales support).
Hands-on ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus) and familiarity with MRP concepts and reports.
Strong Excel skills — comfortable managing spreadsheets, reports, and reconciliations.
Clear written and verbal communication with customers, production teams, and leadership; ability to read and interpret production directions.
Working math for production and component-usage reporting.
On-site role with daily production floor presence; ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
