POSITION SUMMARY
Texas Institute for Neurological Disorders (TIND), part of US Neurology Associates, is one of the largest private practice neurology groups in North Texas, with 13 clinics across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and the Texoma corridor into Southern Oklahoma. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing outpatient neurology team. We are actively hiring for multiple locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and North Texas.
Neurology experience is preferred but not required. We provide structured training, physician mentorship, and ongoing clinical support to help the right candidate develop expertise in outpatient neuroscience care. This is an excellent opportunity for an advanced practice provider with a strong clinical foundation who is interested in building specialty expertise in neurology.
Candidates with experience in primary care, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or other specialties are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing common neurologic conditions including headaches, stroke, seizure disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and memory disorders. Interest or experience in Sleep Medicine is welcomed.
Our practice includes fellowship-trained neurologists specializing in Movement Disorders, Neuromuscular Medicine, and Epilepsy, providing subspecialty consultation and support for complex cases.

TRAINING & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
TIND is committed to developing advanced practice providers who want to build expertise in neurology. Our onboarding and development program includes:
- Structured clinical training and specialty-specific education
- Physician mentorship and case consultation
- Support from experienced neurologists and subspecialists
- Training on neurology workflows, diagnostics, and practice systems
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive outpatient evaluations for general neurology conditions, including headaches, stroke, seizure disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and memory disorders
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medications while monitoring treatment response and potential side effects
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including laboratory testing, imaging, and neurodiagnostic studies as clinically appropriate
- Counsel patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and disease management
- Collaborate closely with neurologists and multidisciplinary care teams through structured clinical support and consultation
- Refer patients to TIND subspecialists (Movement Disorders, Neuromuscular Medicine, Epilepsy) or outside services as clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record
- Partner with physicians, medical assistants, nursing staff, and administrative teams to support efficient clinic operations
- Participate in practice-wide quality improvement initiatives and clinical process improvement efforts
QUALIFICATIONSRequired
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Texas or current Physician Assistant license in the State of Texas
- National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills
- Ability to evaluate and manage complex chronic medical conditions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish strong patient relationships
- Ability to interpret laboratory results and diagnostic testing
- Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based patient care
Preferred
- Prior clinical experience; outpatient specialty experience is a plus
- Interest or experience in neurology or Sleep Medicine
- Experience managing chronic neurologic conditions is preferred but not required
- Comfort with or interest in learning electronic health record and neurodiagnostic systems (eClinicalWorks, EEG platforms); full training provided
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across a multi-clinic care team
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation: Competitive salary and bonus structure
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, No Call
Location: Multiple outpatient clinics across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and North Texas. Candidates must be comfortable providing coverage at assigned clinic locations based on practice needs.
