Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal counsel and representation on a wide range of immigration matters, ensuring clients navigate complex immigration laws efficiently and effectively. Your expertise will help individuals and organizations achieve their immigration goals while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through advocacy, legal research, and strategic negotiations.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on immigration law procedures, including visa applications, green cards, asylum, and deportation defense
Prepare and review legal documents such as petitions, applications, affidavits, and supporting evidence with precision and clarity
Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to stay current on immigration statutes and case law
Represent clients in hearings, interviews, and court proceedings with confidence and professionalism
Negotiate with government agencies to facilitate favorable outcomes for clients’ immigration cases
Collaborate with other legal professionals on complex cases involving family law, employment-based visas, or criminal issues impacting immigration status
Maintain meticulous case files and ensure all deadlines are met in accordance with legal administrative standards

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar
Proven experience in immigration law with a strong understanding of federal regulations and policies
Familiarity with related legal areas such as family law, employment law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, estate planning, environmental law, litigation, and legal research tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis
Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly and accurately
Strong writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence
Demonstrated negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients’ interests
Legal administrative experience including managing case files and tracking deadlines efficiently
