Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Clinical Research Recruitment Manager to lead the strategic planning and execution of participant recruitment efforts for clinical trials. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and implementation of recruitment strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering strong relationships with healthcare providers and community partners. Your energetic leadership will drive enrollment success, support research teams, and uphold the highest standards of clinical research ethics and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence groundbreaking medical advancements by connecting eligible participants with vital clinical studies.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive recruitment plans aligned with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines such as ICH GCP (International Conference on Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice) standards.
Supervise and mentor recruitment staff, ensuring effective training in clinical research methods, patient monitoring, and documentation review processes.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinics, and community organizations to identify potential participants and promote awareness of ongoing clinical trials.
Manage the screening process for potential participants, including reviewing medical records, verifying eligibility criteria, and conducting initial assessments in accordance with FDA regulations and healthcare compliance standards.
Oversee data collection procedures related to recruitment activities using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and statistical software to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Ensure all documentation complies with clinical quality assurance standards, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and other relevant privacy laws.
Monitor patient safety during recruitment phases by coordinating patient monitoring activities such as vital signs assessment, blood sampling (phlebotomy), and clinical laboratory procedures while maintaining compliance with clinical ethical guidelines.
Utilize project management tools to track recruitment progress, prepare reports on key metrics, and facilitate communication across research teams.
Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to clinical trials management protocols, CDISC (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium) standards, and research project management best practices.

Experience

Proven supervising experience in a clinical research setting or healthcare environment with a focus on patient recruitment or research project management.
Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, clinical research methods, FDA regulations, ICH GCP guidelines, and healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA.
Hands-on experience with data management systems including EMR systems, statistical software packages, and data collection tools aligned with CDISC standards.
Demonstrated ability to review complex documentation accurately while adhering to clinical quality assurance standards.
Strong understanding of clinical development processes from early-phase trials through late-stage studies within a research setting experience.
Familiarity with clinical laboratory procedures like blood sampling, vital signs measurement, and phlebotomy techniques is highly desirable.
Project management experience in healthcare or research environments that involve coordinating multiple stakeholders across different phases of clinical trials.
Certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) from a recognized issuer is required; additional certifications such as ICH GCP certificate or relevant project management credentials are advantageous.
Excellent analysis skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for reporting purposes; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
