Full Job Description

After School Science Program for grades 1-5 is hiring for a part time teacher or teacher assistant. Position requires running a classroom of students through reading the lesson, performing the experiment, and working on worksheets. During the experiment and worksheets, it is a more hands off experience, with the kids doing the bulk of the work and the teacher providing assistance and direction.

The current location being hired for is the multiple areas in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplexes and surrounding suburbs. City locations are at the end of the posting. Hours are one session per day, from 2:30 - 5:30p, Tuesday - Thursday afternoons, for a total of three sessions a week. You do not have to work all three sessions, or you may not work all three sessions, but can if willing. A session is an average of 3 hours. Salary is $50 per session not per hour or day. Great job for students, especially those trying to become a teacher.

No experience necessary, training and materials provided. Must be able to pass background check. Would prefer people attempting to become teachers, but not required.

Possible locations are: Richardson, Keller area, Westlake/Roanoke/Trophy Club area, Plano, McKinney, Celina, Princeton, Wylie, Farmers Branch/Carrollton, and Hurst/North Richland Hills area.
