What You’ll Do
As a Lead Access Specialist, you will play a key role in creating an environment where patients and families feel supported, safe, and inspired to grow. You will:
- Provide safe transportation for patients to and from the facility.
- Communicate pick up/drop off times and locations to families.
- Ensure patients adhere to established guidelines and employ appropriate crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques according to policy and procedure.
- Responsible for the non-mechanical upkeep of BasePoint vans, ensuring cleanliness inside the vehicles, reporting damage, and mechanical problems for repairs.
- Conduct pre- and Post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety of the vehicle.
- Monitor and facilitate vehicle maintenance requests for all site-level fleet.
- Assist with milieu management to include front office coverage, check-in/out process, line of sight, educational support, dismissal, and administrative duties as required.
- Identify, evaluate, and update routes for the site to create efficiency in the transportation of patients.
- Monitor and facilitate vehicle maintenance requests for all site-level fleet.
- Oversee the Transportation Database, providing daily oversight of route availability and patient attendance.
- Conduct video reviews to ensure compliance with program guidelines and standards.
- Orient and instruct new drivers regarding job duties and provide continual training for the transportation team.
- Assist the Executive Director in assessing route coverage needs, conducting interviews, providing feedback on performance reviews, and providing ongoing support for drivers.
- Complete Environment of Care Rounds in collaboration with the Executive Director.
- Assist the Executive Director in identifying, requesting, and monitoring facility maintenance needs.
- Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For
· High school diploma or GED; Some College preferred.
· Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
· Outstanding client care and interpersonal skills
· Able to complete required training.
