Position Overview
The Central Field Service Technician will play a pivotal role in delivering on Holcombe Mixers’ customer support promise. This is a hands-on role that combines mechanical skill with relationship-building. You’ll work directly with our customers across the Central USA area, performing calibrations, turn-ons, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and supporting product reliability in the field.
This is also a growth opportunity. You’ll be an early team member in the startup and future expansion of our Central USA regional service center—with potential to help lead additional technicians and parts support in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site service and repair for Holcombe volumetric concrete mixers across the Central USA region
- Conduct billable calibration services, new unit start-ups, and both preventive and corrective maintenance
- Provide technical phone support for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and remote assistance
- Help customers pursue and achieve State DOT certification for mixer fleets
- Maintain accurate service records, expense tracking, and meet service quota goals
- Collaborate with the Service Manager on monthly objectives and annual reviews

Qualifications
Required:
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with mobile hydraulics, 12V and CAN based electrical system and mobile equipment
- Ability to read service manuals and perform structured diagnostics
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Central USA region
- Strong customer service orientation and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time and schedule effectively
Preferred:
- Background in field service, heavy equipment, mobile concrete equipment, or industrial machinery
- Electrical troubleshooting and control system experience
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
