Job Overview

***PLEASE READ*** We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Licensed Public Adjuster with extensive roofing experience to join our team and champion the rights of property owners during the roofing insurance claims processes. As a Licensed Public Adjuster, you will serve as a vital advocate for clients, expertly managing roofing insurance claims from initial assessment through settlement. Your role will involve thorough analysis of claims, negotiation with insurance companies, and ensuring regulatory compliance—all while delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping clients maximize their insurance recoveries with professionalism and integrity.

Duties

Evaluate roof damage and insurance claims to determine coverage and appropriate settlement amounts using auto estimating tools like Xactimate.
Investigate claims thoroughly, including fraud prevention and detection measures, to ensure accuracy and integrity in the claims process.
Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and representatives to secure fair compensation for clients.
Prepare detailed claim reports, documentation, and estimates in compliance with insurance law and regulations.
Communicate clearly with clients, insurers, contractors, and legal professionals to facilitate smooth claims processing.
Maintain organized records of all claim activities, correspondence, and regulatory documentation for audit purposes.
Stay current on industry standards, insurance regulation updates, workers' compensation law, and regulatory compliance in claims processing.

Skills

Strong analysis skills to assess damages accurately and identify potential discrepancies or fraud indicators.
Expertise in property insurance claims processing, including familiarity with auto estimating software such as Xactimate.
Excellent negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients during settlement discussions.
In-depth knowledge of insurance law, workers' compensation law, and relevant regulations governing claims processing.
Customer service excellence to build trust and ensure client satisfaction throughout the claims journey.
Proficiency in financial software and workers' compensation systems to manage claim data efficiently.
Organizational skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining meticulous records.
Ability to detect fraud and implement prevention strategies proactively.
