Job Summary

As an Entry-Level Account Representative for Business Capital Funding Companies, you will play a vital role in connecting small and medium-sized businesses with the capital they need to grow and succeed. Duties

Assist clients in understanding funding options and guide them through the loan application process
Conduct initial credit analysis and evaluate client financial documents using industry-standard software such as Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
Negotiate terms with clients while ensuring compliance with fair housing regulations and loan regulations like TILA (Truth in Lending Act)
Collaborate with underwriting teams to facilitate loan processing, underwriting, and approval procedures
Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the loan lifecycle, providing updates on application status and necessary documentation
Support the preparation of contracts and legal documents related to funding agreements
Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their financial needs and offering tailored solutions to foster trust and long-term partnerships

Requirements

Strong interest in sales, finance, or banking industries with a desire to grow professionally in financial services
Basic math skills and familiarity with financial analysis concepts such as credit analysis and risk assessment
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Knowledge of mortgage lending, retail lending, commercial lending analysis, or banking regulatory compliance is a plus
Experience or familiarity with Loan Origination Systems (LOS), mortgage servicing software, or accounting software is advantageous
Ability to understand and adhere to industry regulations including FNMA (Fannie Mae), TILA, Fair Housing regulations, and other compliance standards
Demonstrated negotiation skills combined with a proactive attitude toward relationship building in financial sales
Basic understanding of contracts, loan processing steps, and financial software tools
A motivated team player eager to learn about mortgage services, loan origination, underwriting processes, and banking compliance standards
