Full Job Description

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Georgia Physical Therapist license required prior to the start of assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
Minimum 1 year of relevant outpatient orthopedic or general outpatient physical therapy experience preferred. This site will not accept first-time travelers.
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
Ability to manage a daily patient census of approximately 10–15 patients with 30-minute treatment intervals and occasional 60-minute complex evaluations.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Outpatient hospital-affiliated rehabilitation clinic.
Shift Days: Monday - Friday.
Shift Type: Normal business hours.
Typical Shift Times: 5x8 or 4x10 schedules; clinic may determine consistent day off for duration of assignment.
Standard Hours Per Week: 40.
Patient Population: General orthopedics, debility, stroke/CVA, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures.
Orientation: New Employee Orientation plus 5 days departmental orientation.
Department Support: Team consists of approximately 2 therapists, 1 office coordinator, and 1 rehab aide.
Scheduling: No weekend rotation, no on-call requirements, no holiday expectations.
Uniform/Parking: Polos provided; free parking on site.

Interstate 75 runs nearby, providing direct driving routes to Chattanooga, TN (approximately 40 minutes) and Atlanta, GA (approximately 90 minutes), supporting easy regional travel and weekend excursions.
