Legal Collections Analyst
Location: Hybrid
Job Type: Full-Time
Looking to build your career in a role that combines collections, legal coordination, negotiation, and financial analysis ? A growing organization is hiring a Legal Collections Analyst to join its team and take ownership of complex, escalated accounts tied to lease enforcement and legal recovery efforts.
This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional who wants to sharpen their skills in collections, legal processes, strategy, and problem-solving while working alongside leadership and external legal counsel on high-impact matters.
What You’ll Do
Manage escalated collection accounts and work to resolve lease defaults.
Coordinate pending litigation related to lease enforcement, including judgments for damages and eviction actions when necessary.
Partner with outside legal counsel on active matters and help determine strategic next steps.
Review legal documents related to collection and eviction proceedings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Negotiate settlements on outstanding obligations, both pre- and post-judgment, and present recommendations for final approval.
Analyze accounts receivable reports and related financial data to identify delinquent or high-risk accounts requiring escalation.
Participate in regular meetings with leadership to align on strategy, priorities, and resolution plans for problem accounts.
Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed.

What We’re Looking For
At least 4 years of related professional experience required.
Collections experience strongly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret leases, legal documents, and financial information from accounting systems, spreadsheets, and balance sheets.
