Description:

Southern California Foot & Ankle Specialists is a 3 physician practice with 2 locations (Ladera Ranch and Orange, CA) that is seeking a college graduate that is hard working, compassionate, dedicated to offering high quality care/service to our patients. Applicant should conduct business in a service-oriented manner that is attentive, cooperative, sensitive, respectful and kind when dealing with patients, visitors, the public and all colleagues.

We are looking for a qualified medical office manager to manage our medical facilities. You will split your time at both office locations. You will be responsible for day-to-day operation, budgeting and maintaining medical and staff records. As a medical office manager, you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform well in stressful situations. Our position requires knowledge of healthcare systems operations. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our medical facility.

Responsible for the operations and administration side of a medical office. Ensures office is running smoothly by supervising office staff, hires, terminates, and trains employees, and oversees the billing portion of the office.

Primary Responsibilities

Hire, terminate, and train staff in a medical office.
Supervise Staff.
Oversee billing, coding, and collections.
Schedule appointments.
Maintain medical records.
Make deposits.
Reconcile account information using QuickBooks.
Pay medical office bills.
Arrange cleaning staff.
Arrange for emergency maintenance visits for building.
Order medical and office supplies.
Submit billing statements to patients.
Delegate responsibilities.
Assess employee performance.
Perform data entry and processing.
Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
Formulate objectives and processes.
Generate inventory records.
Provide educational material for patients.

OTHER JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
The Podiatry Office Manager at Southern California Foot and Ankle Specialists is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficient patient flow, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This role is crucial for enhancing patient satisfaction and supporting the clinical team in providing exceptional foot and ankle care.

Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES - This position requires the following minimum requirements:

- Bookkeeping (Understanding QuickBooks is a plus)

EDUCATION -
· A bachelor's degree from a College/University is a requirement.

EXPERIENCE -
· Two years of managerial experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
