Levco provides heating oil and propane delivery, along with high-quality HVAC service, to thousands of homeowners throughout Southern Connecticut. Our team of more than 40 employees is committed to making Levco the premier oil, propane, and HVAC service provider in Connecticut.
Position Summary
Levco is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Specialist to create a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads from new homeowners.
The primary focus of this position will be identifying and engaging prospective heating oil and propane customers who have recently purchased, or are in the process of purchasing, a home within Levco’s service area.
The Business Development Specialist will build referral relationships, develop new lead sources, engage prospective customers, and nurture qualified opportunities before handing them off to Levco’s Comfort Advisors for final conversion.
This is not primarily a sales-closing position. The successful candidate will be a creative, persistent, and highly productive lead generator who can identify opportunities through a wide variety of channels and move prospects as close as possible to a purchasing decision.

- Build relationships with the agents, attorneys, inspectors, and other professionals involved in the sale to help create access to the buyer.
- Make a strong first impression on the incoming homeowner and educate them on the home’s fuel system and relevant Levco services.
Engage and Nurture Prospects
- Maintain consistent follow-up through phone, email, text, direct mail, in-person communication, and other appropriate channels.
- Keep prospects engaged throughout the buying, closing, and move-in process.
