Full Job Description

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This travel imaging assignment gives you a chance to engage in enriching healthcare practice while spending your days off exploring the region’s lively downtown, tranquil hiking trails, and nearby lakes. Take advantage of this opportunity to collaborate with high-caliber professionals, gain hands-on exposure to the latest cardiovascular technology, and broaden your expertise across diverse lab environments. Your travel placement in Danbury will not only expand your technical capabilities but also provide impressive resume growth and exposure to forward-thinking leadership styles.

Schedule/Hours:

Three 12-hour shifts per week (variable start time between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm)
Participation in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as needed

Qualifications:

Active CT State Radiographer license and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab environments
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong proficiency in the following:
- Scrubbing for complex electrophysiology procedures (ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, leadless pacing systems—Micra, Aveir)
- Cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI and atherectomy, circulatory support (Impella, IABP, temp pacing)
- Neurointerventional/peripheral vascular procedures, angiography, endovascular interventions
- Vascular access (radial/femoral), sheath management, vascular closure
Preferred: Licensed radiologic technologists familiar with Siemens equipment, RCIS-certified, experience with structural heart (TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, Watchman), advanced imaging (ICE, IVUS, OCT, 3D mapping)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert assistance and scrubbing for high-acuity cardiovascular, EP, neurointerventional, and structural heart cases
Support emergent and advanced interventional procedures in a collaborative, fast-paced setting
Adhere to the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and quality across all procedures
Engage in ongoing professional development and training sessions
