As a Mobile Phlebotomist at Aculabs, you will be responsible for traveling to various nursing homes to collect blood samples from patients. Your primary focus will be on providing efficient and compassionate phlebotomy services while ensuring accuracy and patient comfort.

Ideal Candidate Location
Ideal candidates are located near Milford, CT and New Haven, CT and are willing to travel to surrounding areas as part of their daily work schedule.
We are currently hiring for the following schedules:
- Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM, with weekend rotation
- Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM
Earn a $500 Sign-On Bonus when you start immediately!
The $500 sign-on bonus is available to qualified candidates who are able to complete the hiring/ onboarding process and begin employment immediately as well as complete their training period successfully. Additional eligibility requirements may apply.
Earn up to $1,000 in retention bonuses!
- $500 at 3 months
- $500 at 6 months
To qualify for the retention bonus, employees must:
- Maintain regular attendance with no unexcused absences during this period.
- Maintain a clean record, with no performance deficiencies or facility complaints on file.
- Remain in full compliance with the Employee Handbook, with no violations.
All retention bonus payments are subject to meeting the eligibility requirements above.
- Travel to various nursing homes to collect blood samples from patients
- Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures accurately and efficiently
- Follow established procedures for specimen collection, labeling, handling, and transportation
- Interact with patients, nursing staff, and facility personnel professionally and compassionately
- Maintain accurate documentation of specimens collected
- Follow all safety, infection-control, HIPAA, and company policies
- Manage daily routes and workload independently while maintaining punctuality and accuracy
- Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience required
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Previous experience working with nursing homes, long-term care facilities, or similar healthcare settings is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Must be willing to travel between nursing facilities
- Must have a personal mobile phone
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
