About Us: We are a dental office that offers comprehensive dental care to a very diverse set of patients. We pride ourselves on our commitment to exceptional patient care, the use of state-of-the-art technology, and a comfortable office environment. We're looking for a dedicated Senior Front Office Scheduler to join our dynamic team, who will have the same philosophy as we do for our patients.

Position Overview: The Senior Front Office Scheduler will be responsible for managing appointments, ensuring optimal patient flow, and maintaining seamless communication between the dental team and our patients. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, patient-focused, and has experience in a fast-paced dental or medical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of appointment times and optimal patient flow.
Communicate with patients regarding appointment reminders, changes, and confirmations.
Handle cancellations and rescheduling requests promptly and efficiently.
Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate multi-visit treatments or specialist referrals.
Maintain and update patient records in the dental practice management software.
Address any patient concerns regarding appointments and waiting times.
Train and mentor junior scheduling staff, providing guidance and support.
Assist with front office duties such as answering phones, greeting patients, and handling inquiries.
Collaborate with the office manager in the development of scheduling protocols and patient flow improvements.
Stay updated with office promotions, treatments, and special events to inform and schedule patients accordingly.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. (Higher education in related fields is a plus.)
Minimum of 1-2 years experience in dental or medical office scheduling.
Proficiency in dental practice management software and basic applications such as Microsoft Word/Excel.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
