Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As a Financial Project Manager for John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, IL, you will:

Be responsible for pension investment and equity compensation accounting
Coordinate XBRL and support various aspects of SEC reporting
Manage and support bulletin and worldwide accounting manual updates, reviews, and publication
Support internal controls and financial reporting related special projects

What Skills You Need

Four or more years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or another related field
Strong attention to detail and a self-starter with the ability to work independently at times
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong communication, both written and verbal, and ability to work with variety of business partners

What Makes You Stand Out

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or equivalent
Knowledge of accounting systems and policies
Understands the integrated systems of internal control and the relationship to disclosure and financial reporting

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or another related field
