Assistant Executive Director

Salary: $67,000–$72,000/year

Charter Senior Living is seeking a motivated, results-driven Assistant Executive Director to partner with the Executive Director in leading the day-to-day operations of our Moline community.

This is a strong opportunity for an emerging senior living leader who wants broader exposure to operations, financial performance, team leadership, resident experience, and occupancy growth while preparing for the next step into Executive Director leadership.

What You’ll Do

As Assistant Executive Director, you’ll work closely with the Executive Director and department leaders to support overall community performance, including:

Assist with day-to-day community operations and leadership
Support financial performance, budgeting, expense management, and operational goals
Partner with department leaders to improve resident satisfaction and service delivery
Assist with hiring, coaching, performance management, and team development
Help drive accountability and consistency across community departments
Support occupancy growth, tours, family engagement, and sales initiatives
Monitor operational standards, policies, and regulatory compliance
Identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement solutions
Support programming and resident engagement initiatives
Step into leadership responsibilities when the Executive Director is unavailable
Help create a positive culture where residents, families, and associates feel valued

You communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively with residents, families, associates, department leaders, and community partners. You’re comfortable navigating difficult conversations, providing feedback, and keeping the right people informed.
