Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive Office Manager to oversee daily office operations within our Honda dealership in Ft. Lauderdale. This vital role involves managing administrative functions, supervising staff, coordinating vendor relationships, and ensuring smooth scheduling and communication across departments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to office management.

Duties

Oversee all administrative activities, including filing, bookkeeping, and front desk operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Manage scheduling for staff, appointments, and dealership events to optimize workflow and customer service.
Supervise office staff, providing training and development opportunities to foster a motivated team environment.
Coordinate vendor relationships for supplies, maintenance, and service needs to ensure seamless operations.
Handle human resources functions such as payroll processing, employee records management, and compliance with workplace policies.
Maintain effective communication with team members through multi-line phone systems, calendar management, and phone etiquette.
Support medical or specialized office management tasks as needed within the dealership setting.

Qualifications

Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within an automotive or medical office environment.
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Proficiency in QuickBooks for bookkeeping and payroll processing.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities simultaneously.
Experience with vendor management, budgeting, and basic bookkeeping practices.
Exceptional communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette.
Familiarity with office technology including multi-line phone systems, calendar management tools, and filing systems.
Knowledge of human resources procedures related to employee records, training & development initiatives, and compliance standards.
