Automotive Sales Manager – Confidential Franchised Dealership

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Area
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive compensation plus performance-based incentives

EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE SALES MANAGERS ONLY

Minimum 2 years of recent automotive Sales Manager experience in a franchised dealership required.

Attitude and leadership matter. We are looking for a proven automotive sales leader who knows how to motivate a team, create accountability, close deals, and push people to perform at a level they didn't think possible.

This is not an entry-level management opportunity.

About the Opportunity

An established franchised automotive dealership in the Fort Lauderdale area is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Sales Manager.

The right candidate is competitive, energetic, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced dealership environment. You should understand that great management is more than desking deals—you are responsible for developing people, driving activity, protecting profitability, and setting the pace for the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, motivate, and hold the sales team accountable for performance.
Set individual and department goals and actively manage progress.
Desk and structure new and pre-owned vehicle deals.
Assist sales consultants with closing opportunities.
Drive daily sales activity, appointments, follow-up, and showroom performance.
Develop and execute strategies to increase volume, gross profit, and market share.
Maintain a consistent, customer-focused sales process.
Monitor sales KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Work closely with senior management and F&I to maintain an efficient deal flow.
Assist with inventory strategy, pricing, aging, and turn.
Ensure compliance with dealership policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Automotive Sales Manager in a franchised dealership.
Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing automotive sales team.
Strong desking, closing, and deal-structuring skills.
Experience with both new and pre-owned vehicle operations.
Strong understanding of CRM processes, lead management, and dealership KPIs.
Ability to analyze performance data and turn it into action.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
