Setting standards in Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Care

Job Summary:

At North Beach Rehab, a Skilled Nursing Facility, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. As a key leader in our facility, the ADON will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and excellence in clinical practice. If you are passionate about nursing and committed to making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement facility policies, procedures, and standards of care
Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants
Develop and maintain effective communication channels with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance activities to ensure regulatory requirements are met
Assist with the development and implementation of education programs for nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and optimize patient flow

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, with at least 2 years as an ADON
Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure
Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
