Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Pool Technician and become the driving force behind pristine, safe, and well-maintained swimming pools. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring pools are clean, equipment is functioning optimally, and maintenance routines are executed efficiently. Your expertise will help create enjoyable and safe aquatic environments for our clients, making a tangible difference in their outdoor experiences. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in pool care and equipment repair while working in a fast-paced, rewarding setting.

Duties

Perform routine pool maintenance including water testing, balancing chemicals, and cleaning filters to ensure optimal water quality.
Conduct thorough pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming floors, brushing surfaces, and maintaining surrounding areas.
Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or coordinate repairs with service teams.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to repair or replace faulty equipment or components.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical levels, repairs performed, and service schedules.
Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures to prepare pools for peak use or winterization.
Communicate clearly with team members and clients regarding maintenance needs or safety concerns.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues with pool equipment quickly.
Proven experience in pool maintenance, cleaning, or service technician roles.
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
Knowledge of pool chemistry principles to ensure proper chemical balancing and water safety.
Ability to follow safety protocols diligently when handling chemicals and operating machinery.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
