Services Horizon offers for Pediatric Patients

In home 1:1 Pediatric Private Duty, Respite Care and School Nursing

We are looking for skilled Registered Nurses to join our team and provide quality care to high acuity patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience with tracheostomy care, g-tubes, and ventilators. We can provide training as well.

Must have at least 1 year of ICU experience.
Be familiar with Central Lines
Be familiar with EVD's
Loves working with kids
Engage with the patients

Responsibilities:

Educate and support families and caregivers to allow them to feel confident providing the best care to their child.
Provide nursing care to Pediatric patients in their homes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Observe and record patient's condition and progress and communicate with clinical team members to ensure the best patient care.
Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
Maintain a safe environment for the patient.
Provide emotional support to the child and family.
