The personal trainer will be responsible for implementing and supervising individualized exercise programs developed to support rehabilitation, improve mobility, restore function, and help clients safely progress toward their health and fitness goals.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required.
NASM- CPT, or similar Personal Training Certificate.
The physical demands required of this position involve extensive standing, walking, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Skills:

Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to motivate, coach, and build rapport with clients of all fitness and rehabilitation levels.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple client sessions efficiently.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical and fitness environment.
Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive under pressure.
Goal-oriented with a passion for helping clients achieve functional and fitness milestones.
Knowledge of exercise physiology, biomechanics, injury prevention, and therapeutic exercise principles.
Commitment to providing safe, evidence-based exercise instruction and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and supervise individualized exercise programs that support rehabilitation, injury prevention, strength development, and overall wellness.
Progress or modify exercise programs based on client performance, tolerance, functional improvements, and therapist recommendations.
Demonstrate, instruct, and correct proper exercise techniques to maximize effectiveness, improve movement quality, and reduce the risk of injury.
Monitor clients throughout training sessions, providing continuous coaching, encouragement, and real-time feedback.
Maintain accurate documentation of client attendance, exercise progression, performance, and any notable changes in condition.
Prepare training areas and equipment before each session, ensuring all equipment is clean, functional, and safe for use.
Assist with client flow, including welcoming clients, escorting them to the training area when appropriate, and communicating relevant information to the clinical team.
Support clinic operations by completing assigned administrative and quality assurance tasks as needed.

To be considered for this role, candidates must successfully pass an internal screening against the OIG Exclusions list.
