Specific Job Details:
Starting Fall 2026
The person hired will be responsbile for teaching a handful of classes throughout the week in the library. In addition, you will support the building in a variety of other tasks (student support, Someday's, etc.)

Brief Job Duties:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

Responsible for preparing and teaching a handful of library classes throughout the week.
2. Responsible for the ordering and updating of library books.
3. Collaborating with classroom teachers to provide support for classroom based learning.
4. Work with the technology teacher to help facilitate technology use with staff in the building.
5. Support building based school culture related activities.
6. Work with classroom teachers, and instructional strategiest to facilitate literacy special events throughout the building at various times of the year.
7. Perform short-term instruction and classroom management activities as needed.
8. Participate in required workshops by request of Building Leader.
9. Alerts teacher to any problem or special information about an individual student.
10. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information.
11. Participates in staff meetings as needed.
12. Work in collaboration with colleagues on Unified Arts team.
13. Other job-related duties as assigned by the Building Leader.
Certification/License:
Ed Technician III Certification from the Department of Education
Education:
As appropriate for Ed Tech Certification
Compensation:
Based on education level, experience, and per the collective bargaining agreement
Range: $18.25 - $26.50 per hour
