Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Carson City, NV within the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for a precision-focused machinist with 3 to 5 years of experience operating CNC machine tools and producing high-quality manufactured parts to exact specifications.

As a 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator, you will work in a highly technical production environment where accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail are essential. This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to precision aerospace components while working with a team that values quality workmanship, dependable performance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC machine tools, including grinding and milling machines, to produce precision manufactured parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
Perform machining operations using both manual and automated equipment.
Measure finished parts to verify accuracy, tolerances, and conformance to requirements.
Repair or produce parts according to assigned work orders and production priorities.
Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work area.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $52,000 per year.
Job Type: Direct hire.
Schedule: 2nd shift, 3:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Location: Carson City, NV.
