Full Job Description

We're looking for a creative, driven Digital & Brand Coordinator to own Old Scratch Pizza's online presence, keep our brand as loud online as our wood-fired ovens are in person, and hold the visual thread together across our website, online ordering, and in-store touchpoints. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, has an eye for on-brand execution, and is equally comfortable writing a caption, briefing an outside content creator, and mocking up a promotional sign in Canva. You'll manage our social calendar, coordinate our outside content producer and influencer partnerships and keep our digital and in-store visual details tight. Some travel between our 4-5 Dayton and Columbus locations is part of the gig.

Responsibilities:

Content & Social Media:

Maintain and execute the content calendar across all platforms — Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and beyond
Write captions and copy that capture the OSP brand voice and energy
Schedule posts using social media management tools (Later, Hootsuite, or similar) and maintain a consistent publishing cadence
Coordinate our outside content producer — brief shoots, manage timelines, and ensure produced content aligns with social calendar and campaign needs
Capture real-time, in-the-moment phone content (photo and video) to supplement the higher-production work from our content producer
Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends; bring fresh ideas to the team

Community & Influencer:

Monitor and respond promptly to comments, messages, and mentions across all platforms
Support Marketing Manager by assisting with outreach and ongoing engagement for local brands, food creators, and community partners
Assist Marketing Manager in coordinating the influencer and brand ambassador program — identify partners, brief them, coordinate deliverables, and track campaign performance
Schedule and coordinate influencer collaborations against the social media calendar and quarterly campaign needs

Web, Online Ordering & Digital Content:

Maintain and update website content — menus, promotions, location pages — ensuring accuracy and brand consistency
Update menu items, pricing, and imagery across the website and online ordering platform
Maintain and update the crew website (internal team resource) with current information, campaign details, and operational updates

Design & Brand Support:

Create and update in-store signage, menu boards, and campaign materials using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or Express)
Ensure all designs follow OSP brand guidelines — colors, typography, voice, and visual standards
Adapt existing brand templates for new campaigns, LTOs, and location-specific needs
Partner with location managers to keep in-store visual details current and consistent across all units

Administrative:

Collaborate with location managers to ensure in-store signage and marketing materials align with current campaigns
Assist with ordering and distributing brand-specific supplies and merchandise across locations
Support the Marketing Manager with other department needs as they arise

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma required; pursuing or holding a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus
2+ years of hands-on social media coordination or content creation experience (brand or agency side)
Strong familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite, or similar)
Proficiency with Canva; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or Adobe Express)
Experience with website CMS platforms — Webflow experience is a meaningful plus
Comfort briefing outside content producers, influencers, or freelance creators against a calendar and campaign brief
Basic video shooting and editing skills for Reels, TikTok, for in-the-moment content capture
Excellent written communication with a knack for authentic, on-brand copy
Basic understanding of social media analytics and what the numbers mean for strategy
Ability to juggle multiple priorities across multiple locations and meet deadlines without dropping the ball
Travel to all OSP locations is required; must have a valid driver's license
Must be 19+ years of age

Work Environment:

This role supports 4-5 Old Scratch Pizza locations across the Dayton area and requires regular travel between sites. This job may entail frequent exposure to high temperatures and extreme cold. There may be contact with alcohol, produce items, dairy products, and frequent allergen-related items such as nuts, citrus, gluten, etc.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
Good eyesight and visual acuity to effectively view and analyze social media content and design work
Strong hand-eye coordination for tasks such as typing, navigating screens, and using various digital and design tools
Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for social media coordination and content capture on location
Ability to handle repetitive motions such as typing and scrolling without strain or discomfort
Ability to drive between multiple restaurant locations throughout the Dayton area

It is important that applicants are able to meet these physical requirements to perform the duties of the position. There may be substantial repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
