Full Job Description

Job Overview:
As a Medical Gas Technician at Compass Cryogenics, the individual will represent the company at customer locations for annual safety inspections, repairs, maintenance, evaluations, and other service-oriented work. The primary responsibilities of the Medical Gas Technician will also involve working with Regional Account Managers to identify customer needs and to make suggestions for additional services that Compass Cryogenics can provide.

Essential Functions:

Travel to and from customer locations for site work.
Maintain transportation, tools, and equipment to provide services to customers properly.
Identify issues with existing customers to understand their requirements, address concerns, and promote additional offerings in collaboration with the Regional Account Manager.
Provide comprehensive accounting of travel time, site work, parts requirements, and other job details to Regional Account Managers to ensure effective customer service.
Maintain professional appearance, arrive and depart promptly, and communicate with customers and their representatives about schedule.
Communicate with location staff to ensure no interruptions to their daily patient care.
Contribute data for reports and work with the Regional Account Manager to finalize standardized reports.
Work closely with Regional Account Managers to maintain individual training levels and certifications.
Work closely with internal teams such as senior management, sales, and engineering to meet customer needs.
Attend classes, complete online materials, and meet other requirements necessary to work in patient care environments (requirements sometimes vary by customer).
Always professionally represent Compass Cryogenics, paying close attention to each client's work environment and striving to adhere to all rules and regulations required in patient care environments.

Skills and Experience:

Minimum ASSE 6040 certification. ASSE 6010 or ASSE 6030 accepted. Training and testing provided.
Prior experience as a medical gas technician is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to rapidly identify issues that affect life and safety.
Experience with computers and basic office programs.
Regular travel and evening hours are required.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand, climb ladders, carry tools and equipment weighing 50 lbs or more. Must be able to work at a computer. Must be willing to work in medical environments where employees may experience exposure to various health hazards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
