Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact on patient care by leveraging your expertise in MRI imaging. In this dynamic contract position, you will contribute to a high-performing radiology department, ensuring high-quality imaging services and a compassionate approach to every patient interaction.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Certification from an accredited radiologic technologist program
Active registration in MRI (ARRT MR or equivalent)
Proven experience performing MRI scans professionally
Current BLS certification
Strong knowledge of MRI safety for patients and staff
Attention to detail and accuracy in image acquisition
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine and specialized MRI procedures following physician orders
Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures for comfort and safety
Operate and maintain MRI equipment according to protocols
Ensure the imaging suite is clean, safe, and ready for patients
Assess image quality to provide accurate diagnostic information
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to optimize workflow
Adhere strictly to HIPAA and safety guidelines at all times
Document procedures, patient histories, and maintain accurate records
