Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a Line Cook to join our long term, experienced team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, experience in food preparation, and cooking on a griddle, sauté, and with deep fryers. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering quality meals while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining an organized kitchen.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Follow food safety protocols to ensure the quality and safety of all food served
Handle food items with care, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed
Utilize knife skills for meal preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency
Support other kitchen staff as required, a collaborative work environment

Requirements

Experienced line cook or similar role within the food industry
Culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques
Good food handling practices and understanding of food safety regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention quality.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is desirable
Teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
