Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cleaning Compliance Specialist to ensure our cleaning and sanitation standards are consistently met across all facilities. In this vital role, you will oversee cleaning operations, enforce safety and sanitation regulations, and lead a team of custodial staff to maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment. Your expertise in industrial and commercial cleaning, combined with strong leadership skills, will drive excellence in cleanliness and compliance. Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple sites, ensuring adherence to established sanitation protocols.
Monitor cleaning staff performance, provide training on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with health regulations, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
Implement and manage cleaning schedules for industrial, commercial, hospitality, or healthcare environments.
Enforce safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and hazard prevention to protect staff and visitors.
Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with management to develop new cleaning procedures or improve existing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or janitorial services with a focus on sanitation management.
Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within a cleaning or facilities environment.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards.
Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively and coordinate with other departments.
Ability to conduct inspections, identify issues promptly, and implement corrective actions efficiently.
Customer service orientation with the ability to address concerns professionally and diplomatically.
Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in cleanliness standards.
