Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated LCDC-II (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.

Duties
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions
- Develop treatment plans based on clients' needs
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions and documentation
- Utilize crisis intervention and management strategies when necessary
- Apply coding and ICD-9 knowledge for billing purposes
- Incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy into counseling sessions
- Offer mental health counseling and support services
- Engage in case management to coordinate comprehensive care

Experience
Required:
- LCDC-II certification
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Experience in crisis intervention and management

Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding system
- Background in cognitive behavioral therapy techniques
