What we need:
We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Natural Resources Technician 3 within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered in Montgomery County at Sycamore State Park. The address is 4675 Diamond Mill Road, Dayton, Ohio 45426.
This is a part-time position, budgeted for approximately 1560 hours/fiscal year. The work hours/days for this position will vary based on the season. The position will work weekends and may work an occasional holiday.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT REQUIRED TO REMAIN IN THE CLASSIFICATION AFTER EMPLOYMENT: Pesticide applicator license as issued by Department of Agriculture required if applying chemicals regulated by law within one year of hire; positions operating watercraft must complete boat operator education course per Ohio Revised Code 1547.05.

Qualifications
12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in safety practices; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in use of shop, hand & power tools & light equipment; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in carpentry, electrical repair & plumbing; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in equipment operation, maintenance & repair (e.g., tractors with attachments); valid driver’s license.
