About the Role:

If you're passionate about food and friendly service, then join the Tailwind team! We're searching for an enthusiastic Prep Cook to help create delicious meals and deliver excellent customer service for an amazing guest experience — bringing a fun, inviting atmosphere to all travelers. As a Prep Cook, you'll prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring they meet our high quality standards and our customers' expectations. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Consistently provide quality food products for all customers by adhering to recipe and presentation standards
Follow prep lists created by the management team
Measure ingredients and seasonings accurately
Ensure all food items are properly stored and easily accessible
Monitor food and cooler temperatures
Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
Prepare, wash, and cut food to be cooked
Restock and replenish product and inventory supplies
Interact with customers in a positive and upbeat manner
Work with the team to provide the best possible customer experience
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

Accountability for prepped ingredients meeting management's expectations
Comprehension and organization to follow directions and recipes and correctly prepare dishes to the restaurant's standards
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle tools, including knife skills for chopping, slicing, cutting, and dicing
Ability to stand for long periods, handle kitchen heat, and work scheduled shifts
A team-first, guest-focused attitude

Requirements:

Must be able to pass a background check to receive an airport badge
Must have reliable transportation
