The Associate Director of Enrollment Content is a vital member of the enrollment marketing team responsible for creating and developing communication and content strategies for prospective students and other audiences across an array of marketing mediums encompassing both print and digital products.
The Associate Director of Enrollment Content will work with Enrollment Leadership and the Director of Enrollment Communication and Content Strategy to develop timelines and concepts, determine topics and facilitate tracking and analytics mechanisms and documentation to ensure the team is producing quality content that meets the needs of stakeholders and is driving desired actions from the various audiences.
This position will oversee and proofread produced material by the communications and content strategy unit (copywriters) and make recommendations to all enrollment marketing units related to the inclusion and creation of written content. It is crucial to have a self-driven motivation to excel in the quality of the content. He-She will supervise and co-create content for emails, newsletters, stories, printed materials, landing pages and advertising by assigning them to team members or by completing tasks independently and ensuring projects meet the appropriate deadlines. This includes writing creative content, collecting assets like statistics, photos and videos and researching competitive content for benchmarking.
They work independently to make recommendations for refining the university’s marketing communications and content and makes appropriate changes when approved. She will also work to streamline concept creation tasks and content development processes, proofread produced content and give copywriters consistent and timely feedback and edits, ensuring consistency in the university’s written marketing communications.
The Associate Director of Enrollment Content interfaces with the Creative, Multimedia and Digital Communication teams. This person should also have solid and healthy interpersonal abilities necessary to lead and interact with all team peers and supervisees.
The Associate Director of Enrollment Content should have a strong marketing and communications technical background and expertise in Microsoft Applications.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a similar field is required; a master's degree is preferred.

A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience with a predominant focus on marketing communications is required.

Demonstrated skill in writing and editing content with an eye for detail.

Experience in various marketing mediums/platforms, including print, email, digital and social media.

Ability to make sound editorial decisions and judgment calls based on prospective student recruitment lifecycle and university policies and goals.

Sources student, faculty and alumni success stories. Creates written materials, including email and digital ad copy. Proofreads and edits materials written by others.

15% Partners and communicates with in-department and cross-department stakeholders to create and execute data-driven marketing materials to deliver highly targeted messages for various audiences at different stages of the recruitment cycle.

15% Independently researches and recommends new strategies for increasing prospective student interest and engagement.
