Position Purpose: Provide safe and effective wildlife and pest control services.
Job Location: Providence, RI
Employment Term / Type: Regular / Full Time (no layoffs!)
Hours / Week: 40+ overtime available
Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Starting Pay: Base + Bonus + Commission

Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent, friendly, and high quality wildlife service to clients
- Conduct inspections to identify wildlife and pests, pest harborages and wildlife and pest entry ways.
- Determine, recommend, provide required wildlife and pest services per government and BBB guidelines
- Comfortable setting and maintaining traps for nuisance animal removal (raccoons, squirrels, bats, etc.)
- Taking personal initiative and responsibility for correcting wildlife issues.
- Being able to climb ladders, work on roofs and, following all fall protection safety requirements.
- Experience with 16’, 32’, and 40’ ladders. Also, Boom and Scissor lifts.
- Comfortable with working at heights, including utilizing extension ladders up to 48’.
- Experience with standard hand and power tools.
- Capability to perform minor structural repairs regarding wildlife exclusion and prevention.
- Availability to respond to emergency removals outside of normal business hours.
- Inform customers on how to reduce wildlife pressures; proper sanitation, storage and landscaping
- Prepare written reports for customers and explain services in a clear and friendly manner
- Operate, maintain service vehicle, and other service equipment, per government and BBB guidelines
- Utilize, secure, store products & materials in accordance with labels, government and BBB guidelines
- Document service activities as required and submit paperwork as directed
- Maintain licenses, certifications, and/or registrations as required, and participate in company training.
- Propose additional company services to customers as appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license; driving record that meets or exceeds company minimum requirements
- Ability to use computer-based technology such as smartphone, tablet, e-mail, and customer database
- High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Availability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements
- Experience in the service industry a plus
