Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Female Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support licensed physical therapists in delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services to diverse patient populations. Your expertise will contribute to improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing the overall quality of life for patients across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and skilled nursing facility settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, with a focus on patient-centered care and effective discharge planning. Key Responsibilities:

Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs
Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, and modalities under supervision
Monitor and document patient progress accurately, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary
Support patients across various settings including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, home health visits, and skilled nursing facilities
Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy techniques, injury prevention, and post-discharge care instructions
Participate in discharge planning processes to ensure seamless transition of care
Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and healthcare regulations
Contribute to a positive environment that promotes patient engagement and recovery

Requirements:

Valid certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (female preferred)
Proven experience in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, home health, or outpatient clinics
Strong knowledge of physiotherapy practices including trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation
Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and care planning processes
Experience working with diverse patient populations such as geriatrics and pediatrics
Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrated commitment to patient care excellence and ethical standards
