Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sushi Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Whether you are an experienced sushi chef or an eager apprentice, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing fresh, beautifully presented sushi that delights our guests. This paid position is perfect for individuals looking to grow their culinary expertise within the food industry, especially those with a keen interest in Japanese cuisine and fine dining.

Experiences

At least 1-2 years of Sushi making experience

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes with precision, artistry, and attention to detail
Follow established recipes and menu specifications to ensure consistency and quality
Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene at all times
Assist in menu planning by suggesting new sushi creations and seasonal specials
Handle food ingredients carefully, ensuring proper storage, handling, and freshness
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by managing multiple tasks efficiently
Uphold cleanliness standards in the sushi station and assist with general kitchen duties as needed

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory for apprentices
Strong knife skills and familiarity with food handling safety protocols
Experience in fine dining or the food industry is highly desirable
Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and catering practices is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for culinary arts, especially Japanese cuisine
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Willingness to learn new techniques and grow within the culinary field
