Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and results-driven Food & Beverage General Manager to lead all hospitality operations within our unique Studio venue in Roswell, Georgia. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations, catering services, private events, and overall guest experience while driving operational excellence, profitability, and team development.

The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional food, beverage, and event experiences. This individual will lead by example, inspire high-performing teams, and successfully balance strategic planning with day-to-day operations. Candidates should be comfortable wearing multiple hats, solving problems proactively, and creating memorable experiences for guests across restaurant, event, and catering operations.

Key Responsibilities, Operations & Leadership

Direct and oversee all daily food and beverage operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, bar, catering, and special event services.
Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop a high-performing hospitality team while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.
Lead managers and staff through performance management, scheduling, coaching, and ongoing professional development.
Ensure consistent execution of service standards, food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality across all guest touchpoints.
Manage shift operations and ensure seamless transitions between service periods and event schedules.
Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal health, sanitation, alcohol service, and workplace safety regulations.

Catering & Events

Oversee all catering F&B, including corporate catering, private events, social gatherings, and film production catering.
Partner with the Catering & Events Sales Manager to execute exceptional catered experiences from planning through event completion.
Develop scalable catering packages, menus, and pricing strategies that maximize profitability while exceeding guest expectations.
Coordinate staffing, equipment, timelines, and service execution for catering events.
Ensure flawless execution of banquet and catered events while maintaining exceptional food quality and service standards.

Financial & Business Management

Manage labor, food, beverage, and inventory costs while implementing cost-control initiatives.
Assist in developing annual budgets, sales forecasts, and operational goals while monitoring financial performance and P&L statements.
Analyze operational data and key performance indicators to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Develop strategies to increase revenue through menu engineering, promotions, catering growth, and enhanced guest experiences.
Oversee purchasing, vendor relationships, inventory management, and procurement processes to ensure product quality and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with culinary leadership on menu development, seasonal offerings, catering menus, and beverage programs.

Technology & Administration

Oversee POS systems, inventory software, scheduling platforms, and operational reporting.
Ensure accurate financial reconciliation, inventory tracking, payroll support, and operational documentation.
Monitor operational workflows and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive leadership experience in restaurant, hospitality, catering, hotel, or event operations, with at least 3 years in a General Manager or senior leadership role.
Demonstrated success managing high-volume food and beverage operations.
Experience leading catering programs, banquet operations, private events, or corporate hospitality is strongly preferred.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, labor optimization, and inventory control.

Schedule & Work Environment

This is a full-time leadership position requiring flexibility to meet business needs. Candidates must be available to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where adaptability, initiative, and a commitment to exceptional hospitality are essential.
