Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Golf Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in golf instruction and a commitment to enhancing the skills of players of all levels. This role involves teaching golf techniques, managing golf programs, and fostering a positive environment for both beginners and experienced golfers. The Golf Professional will work closely with students, providing personalized coaching and support to help them achieve their golfing goals.

Duties

Conduct individual and group golf lessons tailored to various skill levels.
Develop and implement engaging golf programs for players of all ages.
Provide feedback on swing mechanics, putting techniques, and overall game strategy.
Organize and lead golf clinics, tournaments, and special events.
Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes learning and enjoyment of the game.
Collaborate with other sports professionals to enhance overall athletic development.
Utilize behavior management techniques to foster a respectful learning environment.
Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons and events.

Qualifications

Previous experience in sports coaching or instruction, particularly in golf.
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with students of all ages.
Experience working with students in various capacities (e.g., health club, swim instruction).
Knowledge or experience in related sports such as basketball, judo, cheerleading, or climbing is a plus.
Certification as a lifeguard is advantageous but not mandatory.
Ability to manage behavior effectively within a group setting.
A passion for teaching and promoting the sport of golf.
