MR Planners is looking for a dependable person who wants to become a skilled residential remodeling carpenter.
This is an earn-while-you-learn opportunity for someone who is willing to work hard, listen, learn, and steadily improve.
You don't need years of experience. You do need to show up, work, pay attention, and be willing to learn.
You'll work directly with experienced craftsmen on real remodeling projects—not just basic labor. You'll learn how kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, cabinetry, and other remodeling projects are properly built and installed.
As you demonstrate your skills and take on more responsibility, you'll have opportunities for performance-based raises, advancement, and MR Planners Carpenter Certification.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY LEARN
You'll receive hands-on training in areas such as:
- Measuring, layout, and reading construction drawings
- Cabinet and countertop installation
- Finish carpentry and trim
- Windows and doors
- Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
- Drywall and basic framing
- Basic plumbing connections
- Flooring and other remodeling work
- Proper use of hand and power tools
- Jobsite protection, organization, and cleanup
- Working professionally in customers' homes

We are looking for someone who:

We would rather train a dependable person with the right attitude than hire someone who claims to know everything but isn't willing to learn.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation to work
- Cell phone
- Basic hand tools, or willingness to acquire them
- Physically capable of performing construction and remodeling work
- Ability to work from ladders and perform normal construction tasks
- Willingness to learn new methods and follow instructions
Previous construction experience is helpful, but it is not required.

PAY
W2 pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
1099 pay: $21.00 – $26.00 per hour, when applicable.
Pay increases as skills, responsibility, and performance develop.
SCHEDULE
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
No weekends are normally required.
